Paul Weaver and wife Valerie have been in the lumber business for 30 years. They have 5 children and 11 grandchildren. When Paul Weaver wanted a home he didn't ask for a loan to build a house, he borrowed money to buy a sawmill and built his home and business.

We specialize in sawing and planing cypress lumber from 1" x 4" to 12 x" 12".  We live in a log home which we built 22 years ago and have built at least 1 a year since plus milled enough lumber for a good sized subdivision.

We air dry cypress cants which we saw for our log cabin logs, beams, and interior wood. It is also used for Post and Beam lumber. Conventional homes use our tongue and groove paneling, flooring and beams.

We have between 2 - 4 employees including Valerie who does the landscaping and bookkeeping and keep the orders on time. None of our children are in the business here but are married and have a good solid work ethic that they learned at home which is the secret to their success.

Since Paul has built many homes he understands the contractors needs, especially when you have labor and deadlines so he and Val do their best to supply them with the lumber when needed. We have 2 supply trucks and have a small Fed-Ex delivery system at times. We work with the homeowner and contractor on their plans and schedules. Paul and Valerie love this work they do and the opportunity work together.
